ACL reconstruction and rehabilitation
18 May, 09 | by BMJ Group
Which type of ACL reconstruction is best? How does one decide? What are the rehabilitation implications of each? In this podcast, US and Norwegian knee specialists Elizabeth Arendt and Lars Engebretsen share their experiences from operations that have allowed thousands to return to sport at the highest level. But they also raise the question, “Does everyone who ruptures their ACL need an operation?”

Great podcast on ACL. I am a Physio. A question for your surgeons. Returning to sport do you wear a knee support or not. One argument = interferes with normal proprioceptive response versus wearing support increases sensory input and enhances proprioceptive response
